The area bay boxer rescue clubs are usually rescues sponsored and operated by the local breeders.
The first step towards adoption is filling out an application form. After that, you will be contacted within a few days, in order to schedule an informal home visit. Home visits are required and done to verify your address and the conditions in which their purebred pups will be maintained. If your candidature is approved, you will be asked for an adoption fee. All of the fee pays go on vaccinations, rabies tag, certificate, and sterilization operation of the needy dogs. Volunteers help owners who can no longer keep their pets, find new loving homes.

Stray and unwanted purebred dogs often end up in shelters, unless volunteers take care of them. Information on local volunteer organizations can be found on the Internet or in the local breed clubs. If you know a dog in need, have a pet to surrender, or want to adopt, contact a breed club and ask for references.
