Such animals are often abandoned because of behavior problems. In the wrong hands these dogs may become uncontrollable and aggressive. If the owner cannot train the dog properly or has no time for the pet, it will surely develop problems and will be difficult to control. Too aggressive dogs cannot be adopted and should be euthanized. Another reason for abandoning the animal is poor health or age. Senior dogs often develop health problems: tumors, cardiomyopathy, stenosis and others. This breed is also prone to drooling and snoring, which may offend sensitive owners.
